INTRODUCTION
Radio Frequency Identification (RFID)
technology has been widely used by various industries as a part of an
automation system. In this study, an RFID based system will been built in order
to produce more efficient exam monitoring system. The focus of this project is
mainly the development of a card reader using RFID. RFID card readers are
used to track nearby tags by wirelessly reading a tag's unique ID. RFID card
tag simply has to be brought into physical proximity with a reader to be read .
The card reader is supposedly to be build with LCD and LED. The LED act as an
indicator to indicate whether the card is working correctly or not. The purpose
of LCD is to display the output. The output of the card reader should contain
attendance of the candidate, serial number of answer booklet and list of the
student went to the toilet. The purpose of this project is to provides
convenient and efficient exam monitoring system plus saving user’s energy. It is a solution
for the conventional exam monitoring system that carry a lot of drawbacks.
